Self-organization of contemporary Ossetian artists
"Hæshtæg" is a self-organization of contemporary Ossetian artists, architects, urbanists, curators and managers of socio-cultural projects working with the local context of Ossetia in the format of exposition, museum and socio-cultural projects. On account of self-organization - several exhibitions in Vladikavkaz, Ufa (Contemporary Art Center "Clouds") and Berlin (Zentrum für Kunst und Urbanistik / Center for Art and Urbanistics). Self-organization is a partner of the international project "SETKA" (http://cet-ka.net/).
The basic principles of self-organization are horizontal connections, participatory project management, careful interpretation of heritage and its actualization with the help of contemporary art media (installation, socially engaged art, prototyping, performance, video art, etc.) to address urgent challenges.
